x360key Instructions

Your Hard Drive
Make a folder on your USB hard drive called 'games' and place all your ISO files into that folder. You can make the folder structure inside the 'games' as you like. Movies/Kinect/Action etc... USB sticks have no issues powering up. 3.5" powered hard drives also have no issues, however please be sure you plug in the Hard Drive and power up the Hard Drive before you turn on your Xbox 360. 2.5" portable Hard Drives will usually not get enough power from the x360key LCD screen, because the power is coming from the 1 USB port, and powering both the Hard Drive and the screen. This is easily solved with a USB Y split cable, or by totally ignoring the screen, and plugging the Hard Drive directly into the USB dongle on the back of the Xbox 360. Please never remove that USB dongle, it has a small flat cable that is the life line of the x360key, removing it and pulling the cable mean you will have a no longer functional x360key.
Selecting Game
The on screen menu allows you to avoid the manual button on the LCD x360key screen. All you need to do is eject your DVD Drive (either by pressing the eject button on you console or just pressing A on the DVD drive panel on you Xbox 360 dashboard). The x360key will fake open the tray, load the MenuISO, and the close the tray. You can then navigate to the Picture Library, then current disc, and choose your game from there. When the screen says 'Eject to load' you can then Eject your DVD drive again, and the game will load.
Playing original games via Disc
To play a game via disc (original) instead of pressing the power button to turn on the console, press the eject button. The try will eject, wait until the x360key screen says, 'pass through mode', and you can then play games like normal. If you want to switch back to the x360key, turn the console off, and power up by using the power button.
AP 2.5 Protection
AP 2.5 protection is handled in 2 ways. You can either patch your games with ABGX, which you have to do for every AP 2.5 game for every update, or can just place the DAE.bin file into your 'games' folder on the Hard Drive. If the file is there it will use this to handle the protection. If not, it will check the game for the patching. If the game is not patched, it will fail to load the game.
